Many guys died building the dam, but none that way. In _The Hoover Dam_, ISBN 0-8061-2283-8, Joseph E. Stevens debunks this one. Besides, the thing was poured in individual blocks (_lots_ of 5 foot high blocks). Also rigidly inspected. A dead or live bod would have: a) been easy enough to fish out and b) so screwed up a pour so that they would have been forced to yank it out. Excellent book BTW. --Len
